Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap, both the buckle and strap maker marked with the logo of Dransfeld & Co., Menden, measuring 64 mm
